Researchers at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire say a stock portfolio full of Super Bowl advertisers outperforms the S&P 500. From the report:

"It's a significant finding, because in essence, Wall Street rewards firms that run Super Bowl ads. It's a tradeable event."

And don't forget the famous Super Bowl Indicator. If an original NFL team wins, the markets go up, but if an old AFL team wins, the markets drop. Unfortunately for your wallet, this year's AFL Super Bowl contender is the undefeated New England Patriots.
